SESSIONS
|
Some
alternative performances of Felpeyu. |
 |
Fiddle
workshop developed by Lisardo y Fernando at Cygnet Folk Festival.
After the class, they organised this outdoor session where pupils
could perform some Asturian tunes. Cygnet (Tasmania), January 2001 |
 |
Bar
at the National Folk Festival. Every session happened on this big
place; there were many at the time, and one could change from one
to another. The accordion player is our good friend Bree Delian,
who was to become our tour manager in Australia on upcoming tours.
Camberra (ACT), April 2000. |
 |
Ressegna
internazionale de la Zampogna. We performed at this peculiar bagpipe
fest the summer of 1996. There were hundreds of pipers playing on
every corner, and a a certain point Xuan could only add his Asturian
bagpipes too. Scapoli (Abruzzo, Italy), July 1996. |
 |
Session
in Taramundi (Asturies). Our concert there was cancelled due to
technical reasons, so we were invited to play some tunes on a beautiful
pub down in the village, right next door to the local cider factory.
That was one of the warmest sessions we remember, from which we
treasure a lovely memory. |
